The project description, findings and graphs are presented here so they may serve as a reflection and hopefully a new beginning for further exploration of the state of student and staff commuting patterns and how they might move towards a more sustainable future.The story of the SCP has some distinct chapters that help uncover some of the history and current commute practices:

- Routes or road segments that carry a disproportional number of commuters are areas of concern for multiple reasons

- On campus parking audit
- Count the number of cars parked on campus
- The purpose is to get an idea of how many cars are used for the daily commute and average fuel efficiency. There's many limitations and uncertainties in this measure because many staff and students prefer off campus parking and there's no way to quantify which cars are single occupancy or ride-share commuters. The field work method was to simply take photographs of each car rear bumper and any other distinct markings. These were coded into a database of car make and model to better estimate the fuel efficiency of the commuting fleet to calculate emissions.
